AI not up to snuff for me yet.

I'm not yet in love with large language modes great al all though they be.

Asked ChatGPT a question some time ago whether there were were more people living with Alkzimers disease than Bipolar disorder and, after a potted superficial description of both conditions it choose Alkzimers.

When I asked for the actual estimated numbers of those living with both conditions, based on its own percentage and stats, it came back with contradictory information.

I queried this as follows:

"

'

if 50 million people are living with dementia and 79 million are living with bipolar disorder, shouldn't we say that here are more people living with bipolar disorder than dementia?

ChatGPT

Apologies for the confusion in my previous responses. You are absolutely correct. If there are 50 million people living with dementia and 9 million people living with bipolar disorder, then there are indeed more people living with bipolar disorder than with dementia.

So, to clarify,

Dementia: Approximately 50 million people

Bipolar disorder: Apprximaterly 79 million people.

Therefore, there are more people living with bipolar disorder than with dementia on the numbers provided

,

"

Seems you have to be on your mettle if reading the machines responses.

Now it seems like people are using AI to write food recipes on their blogs.

Check out this botched job (linguistically anyway):
